Poetry Is In Me

To let the rivers of life flow through the paper,

no hesitation, just reality.

Allowing the the ink and lead to take over,

being true to both the world and me.

A place where emotions are set free.

I fell in Love with poetry in 5th grade,

who knew how a small assignment would grasp my heart still, till this day.

No limits, rules, or restrictions

nothing but the truth, stories, dreams, and visions.

Now, I've got the victory.

My armor of pen and paper, no weapons needed.

I was born to write,  I can't make it stop, the lines, and words just keep coming.

I can't help it, it's in me.
