Poetry to Me

The words the mouth could not speak,

the voice filled with sadness spoken in ink.

A power one does not know,

that tells truth, happiness, and sorrows,

Pieces of a soul put on pages,

Left forever as the world ages.

Some see it as either beautiful or dark,

I see it as ones spirit which is true art.
