Poetry is Poetry

Poetry has taught me 

there is no right way to feel

only a write way to feel. 

It has opened me up to a new form of expression 

that follows

no guidelines

or rules...

Poetry has shown me how necessary it is

to feel

to connect

to write down so that others may feel 

and connect.

Poetry has shown me poems are the only language in which 

human desires, thoughts, feelings

are truly conveyed.

It allows words to take new meaning 

and the fundamentals of humanity

be more clearly understood.

Poetry is the way in which one can write

what they think, what they wish they could say

in a way without structure

without the rules of the world.

Poetry is the only way

to express

to be human...
