Poetry is Power

Poetry taught me that you don't have to rhyme to be powerful.

You don't have to be thoughtful to make a difference.

You just put words on paper, and you make a difference to someone.

You can come home one day,

And you can decide not to hide your true feelings anymore.

You can give in to all the emotions you've hidden for years.
