Poetry Is What I Breathe

Poetry taught me stress relief

At least that’s my belief

Writing something out

Just gives me a shout

On what is going on

That needs to be done

It gives me perseverance

That shows my true appearance

Your thoughts are the key

While letting your words free

People have their own perspective

In psychology term affective

Reading people’s work is what I aspire

That’s what causes me to be inspired

The world is known to be wild

Most of it is from being reviled

Oh how life had change

Into a brand new page

Is it from the brain

That makes you go insane

Telling facts is a crime

When its the right time

Words come out from your wisdom

Poetry is one of the arts for symbolism

I want my words to be embedded

In the right places to where they are headed

Writing poems is what I strive

That’s what keeps me alive

Our world is our concern

We are just here to learn

You learn between the lines

When you start seeing signs…
