Poetry, What is It?

It is not unlike
a child in the swings,
There is a rhythm,
To these things.Listen for the lyrical-
At first
It is not clear
at all, hear it?Be specific,
write Pacific,
Not just "ocean",
Specify, identify
Don't cry. Or deny! Those saltine tears,
Won't get you there.
Taste the moment,
Smell the lilies,
Breathe perfume-The poet shall
Allume the room
With pearls unsaid-
(Better that
Than being dead)Only beauty survives
the tomb.
Always bring Her
Into the room.
