Poetry: why i write it

I write poetry because i can express me, I like to put it out for all to see. I dont know mabey i find it as my best escape, It's better than putting my life on a boring tape. I used to be dependent on booze and drugs, now all i long for is my families hugs. I think i love to write because im showing my real colors, now that im not induced or seduced like all those others, i can finnaly show who i am and what i do, now that i fit in my destined shoe, my family can be proud at last. I think that life sounds like such a blast!
