Poetry's Revelation

Poetry has revealed to me that I am more than what others think ,

I am more than the like of a picture,

I am more than my hair with its wonderful kinks,

I write down my thoughts sometimes,

Those thoughts turn into poems,

These poems show facets of myself,

Facets I did not know about,

Through my poetry, I discovered that I pay attention to random things

I notice things that other people overlook.
