Poetry's Revelation

Poetry has revealed to me that I am more than what others think

I am more than the like of a picture

I am more than my hair with its wonderful kinks

I write down my thoughts sometimes

Those thoughts turn into poems

These poems show facets of myself

Facets I did not know about

Through my poetry, I discovered that I pay attention to random things

I notice things that other people overlook.
