Poet's Creed

This tear stained world has taken much but I press on.

For though I live in but a small moment,

My touch is infinite.

My reach is far beyond my own life.

It extends into the sky

To be written among the stars.

Words are what shape our world

And I hold their power in the palm of my hand.
