A Poet's Guide

A Poet's Guide

-by Tanishk Goyal

Staring at a blank page?

With not a word to show,

Then tap into your deepest thoughts

And the poem will flow

You’ve contemplated a lot,

Still the page is white as snow?

Just listen to your heart

And the poem will flow

An idea might be forming,

But where to begin, you still don’t know?

Then just clear your mind and think

And the poem will flow

To prove this trick works

I have a confession to make, so listen

Believe me my friends,

This is how THIS poem was written.
