A Poet's Love
To make you smile and laugh,
are my poetic expressions.
Just to know how your doing,
are my poetic intentions.
Cause to gaze in your eyes,
is my poetic obsession.
And when I tell you your beautiful,
its just my poetic confession.
Your skin and lips,
are like poetic inception.
Your touch and kiss,
arouse poetic affections.
Igniting my very being,
sending my heart to a poetical heaven.
That when I’m entangled in your arms,
you become my poetic complexion.
But hearing your dreams and goals,
give me poetic perspective.
All your secrets and fears,
under my poetic protection.
As well as your past and your pain,
there just poetic collections.
For though Life can be hard,
to God it holds a poetical message.
But to have your heart and your trust,
is more than I can poetically mention.
So I'll say this, that just being with you,
is poetic perfection.
