A Poet's Love

Love between the pages is a poet's dream.

I write a love song for you. You compose a melody for me.

Because, you see between the pages is where I love you the most.

As I write you into my life, as I write you in my dreams I unfold like a flower or grow tall like a sweet red apple tree.

Between the words is where you can find my love- moving ever so briskly like a beautiful white dove.

If you should ever doubt my sincerity or even come close to it, remember my love- the love of a poet.

It never wavers nor does it fail.

My dear, in my heart is where your heart is held.
