Pointless

I’m traveling in circles Just going round and round I thought it all had a meaning But it’s all so pointless now What’s the point in living your life If you’ll eventually die Should you even bother saying hello If you’ll have to say goodbye There's no use in writing When the letters just disappear What’s the use in talking If my words never reach your ears I can't wish for tomorrow When I haven’t gotten through today Why try to stop the motion of the earth When it’s already underway There's no need to keep on hoping When my needs are impossible to meet You can't keep on dancing When there is no steady beat What’s the point in fighting In a war that can't be won Why try to catch my breath When all the air is gone It's insane to keep on running When this road will never end Why should I abide by the law When I know the rules can bend I’m traveling in circles Just going round and round I thought it all had a meaning But it’s all so pointless now
