Pointless

The books and the papers,
The pencils, the staplers,
The test after quiz after work.

The incessant grumbling,
The innappropriate mumbling,
And then the ones who actually care.

Maybe when we're older,
Maybe when we're colder,
Maybe when we're just about dead.

Then we can enjoy life,
Then we can truly strive,
To be the people we were meant to be.
