Poison

Cry, for the light has shunned my presence

Afraid of the darkness and its appearance

Craving love and less loneliness

I don't understand hate and hopelessness

Running  away from the terror and fear

For scaring me are the Demon's careers

Screaming louder and longer

Still no one hears

Yet silence couldn't ring softer in my ears

Moving and soon to be still

Completely afraid of the one who kills

Knowing the killer isn't my enemy

Yet still I search for the remedy

Increasing velocity faster and faster

No longer able to ignore the danger
