Poisonous Antidote

You're a sudden winter freeze In my empty desert of heat In my desiccated world of drought You're the rain that floods my streets You tie me up and neglect me You hug me and give me a kiss You push me away and break my heart But say I'm the one you're going to miss You're my vice and my virtue My Pandora's Box of hate and hope My silent, sweet killing joy My tempting poisonous antidote I don't understand why you do this It's cruel and inhumane My heart is tied in a million knots And you're the one to blame You're my lodestone rock that pulls me in Then tosses me aside I'm left here waiting on your shore To be pulled out with the tide You're my vice and my virtue With my thirst no longer remote I can't restrain my love for your I need your poisonous antidote I could cry a million tears And you'd just turn your head But if anything were to happen to you I'd be there beside your bed This torture burns me up inside The flames that will not cease Toasty warm and melting down Your grip will never release I need your vice Your vile lies The virtue too With hopeful eyes The assassin that kills me in my sleep Unaware, naive Although you plot to tear me up Please don't ever leave You're what I will always long for You're what I must evade This antidote of poison That will my heart persuade
