Polar

You offer

Paper thin apologies and

Great, heavy words that drop

without anticipation.

I am

Easily deceived but

Repeatedly questioning the

validity of your declarations.

You speak

To contradict with hubris and

To mend the shattered glass from

yesterday's lull.

I remain

Furious with your ambiguity while

loving each detail of your soul.
