Political Correctness

There are no more whales in SeaWorld

And women do not have to shave

Marijuana is legal, the borders are open

And all income is divided equally

Pronouns have been banned

For fear of offense

And sports are illegal, so no children

Will ever feel inadequate

We no longer have a national anthem

(all the entries had a too “political” slant)

And the flag was outlawed,

(the red suggested a pro war mentality)

Vegetarianism was mandated

And colors removed to prevent gender profiling

At noon every day, we had a mandated hug

(this was later removed for fear of public safety)

And as the protesters packed up their signs

In front of the newly condemned Chucky Cheese

(it’s just not fair to exclude anyone

in this case-- grown ups).

One of them noticed a billboard

Raising awareness for orphans

But a child from every gender, ethnicity,

and demographic was not depicted.

Orphans or not this was not acceptable,

And the protesters prepared once again

To fight for the injustice of the world

As we are nothing, if not politically correct.
