I am part of a Clinton Generation

And I refuse to believe that

I can be as rich as Donald Trump

I realize this may be a shock but

“Trump will be the next president”

Is a lie, and

“Hillary tells the truth”

So in 5 years I will tell my children

They will be independent

My president will know that

I have my priorities straight because

The Democratic Party

Is more important than

The Republican Party

I tell you this

Once upon a time

Trump ran for president

But this will not be true in my era

This is a divided society

Experts tell me

30 years from now, I will be celebrating another Clinton Term

I do not concede that

I will live in a country out of debt

In the future

Clinton’s daughter will be President

No longer can it be said that

My friends care about the USA

It was evident that

My generation is naïve and arrogant

It is foolish to presume that

Trump will be President.
