Politics

Politics, without them we would be lost

they’re meant to help at any cost

Do we, the people, really have power?

politics really just make us sour

soon there will be an election

everyone will be praying for political perfection

but when that’s over, and they come for our pay

to give to the others, who haven’t worked a day,

we’ll be in the same boat,

still miserably afloat.
