Politics

It is easy for you to criticize

any opinion But do you achieve

Actually changing what I believe?

by talking over my “ruinous lies”

Or does your open mouth just catch flies?

I can’t make myself care “You should just leave!”

But you stay so we argue through the eve

But still, nobody will compromise.

You won’t- nay, cannot- keep your tongue at bay

Both of us now talking a bunch of bull,

You won’t listen to what I must say

you perpetually push, so I pull

I can’t even force my own tongue to stay

So I dig us into a deeper hole
