Politics ... satirical

Job 12:23-25 New English Translation (NET Bible)

23 He makes nations great, and destroys them;
he extends the boundaries of nations
and disperses them.
24 He deprives the leaders of the earth
of their understanding;
he makes them wander
in a trackless desert waste.
25 They grope about in darkness without light;
he makes them stagger like drunkards.

Bless the really sincere patriots

Reassigned to nothingness: “Long live the politicians”

Dressed in common uselessness: smiling to hide their greed

Love for power in only-ness: a reason for enchantment

Prophets of clumsiness wishing all the blind: God’s speed

With bloated minds of vulgarity they will lead all astray

With slogans of depravity they follow their dark master

Integrated similarity ready to make all the foolish pay

As with intensity turn well-earned wealth into plaster

Making profits in iniquity to feed their bulging image

Like hot-air balloons they float in confused emptiness

Products of their own misery on a solemn pilgrimage

Ready-made for the cartoons lost in present forgetfulness
