The Pollution to the Planet
I have heard their screams,
Felt their pain as they are ripped from the warm earth, their only home.
But the trees cry out in anguish,
for the fear of what their future generation will face!
Thick, Dark, smoke fills the sky, blotting out all light,
clogging up the once pure air.
So heavy is the fog that its nearly on the ground, weighed down by the "newer" "cleaner" chemicals that are frequently admitted into the air.
"Why don't they hear our cry's?, Our pain?"
"Why can't they stop it? Didn't they create it?"
The trees sorrowful say to me.
As the air gets harder to breath, I wheeze, my eyes tear up and start to fail me.
I see people are now inside, forbidden to see what beyond their door
for fear of inhaling the pollutants poison. As for the animals they are long gone, they knew of this plight before it ever arose.
Before I go on any further, I suggest a change,
Lets start cleaning up the air, get rid of foreign toxins,
pick up litter from ground, and purify the water cleanse it of oil and other chemicals for not just us, but nature as well.
I long for the days were the air was fresh, clean. and pure.
The water crisp and clear,
the earth soft and nurturing.
So lets make a change and stand up to this unseen power,
before we all....
regret.............
