POOR

I am poor

I am unsanitized

Covered in germs and filth

unprotected

Looking to rest on a piece of tilth.

I am starving

A crumb would be fine

Its okay dalring

I just want a piece of food.

I am moving

I go looking for more

Leading to overpopulating

To the city, to the core.

I am not the only one

We all come looking for hope

We serve til the days done

And I just have to cope.

I am poor.
