A Poor Attempt That Created A Survivor
You have lost every right God gave to you
And you want all of our sympathy now.
What is it that has made your life so blue?
Your family you blame, I don’t know how.
They live so far but you still you won’t behave.
Please tell me what they did to you in life.
Your mood swings are like an ocean with big waves.
And why do this to your kids and ex wife?
I wish I could go back to those good times,
When all I knew was happier, short nights.
So I ask, “what made you commit these crimes?”
And you, I know, have shut out all the frights.
Addiction seems to be around to stay.
To bad you could not make it go away.
And now you inspire me to be my own,
To be different and go into the unknown.
I will not succumb to what you are,
My dreams will take me very far.
