Poor Girl

The sadness of a poor young girl

Tears as blue as the inside of her mangled mind and lingering soul

Running her fingers along the rough wooden table

Splinters pierce her skin, numb to the pain

Eyes innocent white walls waiting

Numbness of her lips being void of the kiss of life accepting only death.
