Poppy

Standing alone in the meadow waving through the wind,

Stand teogether play playing with it look alikes,

The thick red coat of blood on the petals from those who fell alone,

Black in the middle the, eyes watching over keeping us safe teogether,

The green stem giving us forgiveness to the actions we have made alone,

But also asking  teogether for peace to end the wars to stop the fighting to not let it happen again.

The Poppy

A beauty alone, a message teogether.
