Porcelain Doll

Wed, 10/31/2018 - 09:38 -- meadmak

I have depression

I’m not made of porcelain

I am strong and beautiful

And I have a say in my life

I’m not a porcelain doll

You won’t break me

I won’t shatter if you push me down

I will stand up and become stronger than I was before

I will rise up and frown upon how naive I was before

You will not break me

Depression doesn’t mean to treat me any differently

It means I have a chemical imbalance in my brain

Not that I’m easily broken

I’m not going insane

I am stronger than I give myself credit for.

I am not a porcelain doll.

Society can not shatter me.
