The Portrait of a Young Man

As she entered a room, she stopped & stared at the wall: where a beautiful portrait was hung it was the picture of a young man, so cunning & sharp, a captivation with the portrait begun she then sat & looked at the elements of the picture: amazed at how his face shined so bright she began to feel overwhelmed with emotions because she was filled with so much delight it seemed as though nothing could make her eyes go astray; nothing could make them wander but questions began to fill her mind, now she began to ponder why did the young man feel so real why was this portrait so different then in walked a young girl and her whole attention was shifted the young girl then walked over to the portrait and said it was lovely, but simply "like the rest" she then asked the young girl, "what do you mean" and the young girl said it's not as it seems "I guess" she then pointed to all the portraits on the wall and said "you’ll understand once you look underneath it" so she picked up the portrait and looked on the back of it she was actually fascinated with a portrait that was counterfeit.
