Poseidon

He walks by, tan muscles rippling,

His unbrushed hair flows in the ocean breeze.

As several girls stride across the sands, giving side glances at the stately figure, the winds pick up-

Poseidon sees opportunity in the sea.

He swims into the depths a sturdy board under his broad chest.

A subtle flick of his wrist stirs up the deep,

The gentle, rolling waves expand to mass proportions- a maverick can be seen in the distance.

The master of the seas is soon sailing through the curls and rhythms of the waters.

Once he returns to the shore, flashing a grin, the girls giggle then saunter towards the swaying palms-

Under which their significant others lie.

His brow furrows and the ocean’s mood follow.

The maverick that once impressed now strikes fear into the hearts of the lazy bodies under the palms.

The waters reach unto the shore and swallow up the fear-inspired boyfriends, spitting them out unto a nearby island.

Now it is Poseidon who saunters under the shade, several newly single, very impressed girls at his hip
