Poseidon's Lament

I am filled with grief and sorrow

As for the ocean, there may be no tomrrow

The humans have tarnished its beauty

It belongs to the sea creatures and was the human's to borrow

My ocean is filled with trash, plastic and more

So much so that my heart is sore

Th pollution is getting worse and worse

It's killing me and hurting me to the core

The humans have monsters like Hitler and such

They've murdered many people, far too much

But with the murder of the ocean, I cannot see

How Hitler and all humans don't have the same touch

If this continues, then I my choose

To declare war on humans with my brother Zeus

Earthquakes, Tsunami's, Hurricanes and more

I will let my wrath run loose
