Poseidon's Poison

Sitting there in the bathtub

Glass sitting on the side

Sound cloud turned all the way up

House to myself

Wine glass had crown and codeine
All hail the king and his queen
Trying to decide between
Pouring it down my throat or the drain

It's supposed to numb you
Yet I was trying to run
From the numb of life
And feel something for a change

Potent as rat poison
Colored like strawberry wine
Enticing as sin
Binding like medusa

Still indecisive I take a sip
And then decide not to
So I made the bitch sing
Song of a siren

And oh girl
this boat is sinking
Like the titanic
Sink the unsinkable

The things you didn't think
We're even possible
Are now your biggest fear
And fateful reality

Hate cannot drive out hate
However poison can
Chase away the
Poisoned thoughts
