Positivity

There is a sliver of sunshine
in every pewter colored cloud;
it may seem impossible to find,
but it is there, in all its glowing glory,
all it’s simple splendor.
There is a flower
in every desert,
bringing color to the savannah,
bringing euphoria to
defunct, arid land.
There is rainbow
in every rainfall;
it just takes some sunshine
to see the bright colors
suspended in the atmosphere.
There is a dry spot
in every rain forest
just for those insects and animals
who are better suited
for sere land.
There is good
in every situation;
it just takes the right
attitude to locate it.

I've been writing since 5th grade on and off. In the past few years it's become a major part of my life. It has been my outlet for expression. My main inspiration has been Ellen Hopkins.
