Possess

Mark 8:36 New King James Version (NKJV)

36 For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?

Possessions

Hungering to receive

what you cannot give

to make it your own.

Is wishing for death

and its consequence

before you're fully grown.

To have and keep

what you cannot hold

destroys you to the core.

Envy and greed

will form your soul

as you want more and more.

You travel than on

tracks so straight

with no place left to turn.

You'll pick up speed

in a blind rage

to a place where one burn.
