Possibilities

Eyes piercing through her heart like a knife,

staring at her as if the world was empty.

Set their future in stone,

wanting their life in their hands.

Said they’d keep it all together,

always and forever being the promise

A world with no controversy or malice,

could it be a possibility?

Two kids with no care in the world,

loving like there’s no tomorrow.

Could it be a possibility?

She was the smile on his face.

He was the blush on her cheeks.

Said it’d be forever

Two kids with no care in the world,

loving like there’s no tomorrow.

Wanting the world at all costs.

but not knowing what it would be.

Living in Neverland,

not caring for the past.

Took her hand,

stole her fears.

Took his love,

stole his heart.

Unconditional,

afraid of giving up.

Two kids with no care in the world.

Could that be a possibility?
