The Possible

Orders from above

They push and shove

They tell what is right and wrong

Follow the rules that have been here all along

Herd of cattle down every hallway

This is what life is supposed to be

This is all it will be

How can we run?

All the spaces in between

They don’t make sense to me

The sky lit up with brazen colors

Faces turn towards darkened cellars

We’ve forgotten why we are here

For the survival of our planet

The white static eats up the horizon

How do we rewind

Rebuild what has been broken

Turn up the volume on the soft-spoken

Let your voices be heard

The lines are no longer blurred

Burst from chest the colors of the world

We will not lay down

It is our time

We will change the world
