Post Storm

You brought the black clouds while you tore and twirled, but good came from bad, like an inspired girl with hopes to change the world. You made her feel needed and gave her motivation. She could make a change. You gave her determination. You scared people and twisted their lives around. You took some away, but worst of all, you destroyed their town. The mothers are still crying that their children are gone. What are they supposed to do? Will they ever move on? It happened so quickly leaving the children full of fright, but the girl comforts them, “Don’t worry, everything will be alright.” People question their religion while they sit all alone. Others thank God for keeping them safe or leaving them with a home. People are sleeping in tents, because you scattered their homes all over the land. This made the girl know for sure that they were in need of her helping hand. A hand to carry supplies, to hold, and to open a new door. Volunteers mean everything; hope, restoration, strength, and more.
