Potential

Potential

I'm waiting on you to lose your mind,
So that I can show you your worth,
From the way I valve your potential,
I want you to step outside of your sordid,
Soul,
And basket in the success,
That lingers at your ankles,

Dance in it,
Baby girl.

I've seen you a thousand times,
Wondering madly,
Inside the walls of your empire,
Marveling at the
Sella Curulis,
Folding and unfolding,
Asking the servants,
About the hinges,
I've seen the crinkles,
In your brow,
When you study the
Silhouette in the glass,
Above the grand entrance,
"Why is her eyes following me"
You asked me once.

I've seen your panting down the Victorian halls of this castle,
At 4 am,
To scratch the gold on the state chair,
With the diamonds of your nails,

Baby girl,
Where is your faith?

These are more than your darken days,
You are the seed,
Of a Mongolia,
Patiently  waiting,
For the eyes  of the universe,
To get heavy,
So

Open your window,
When the rain falls,
And catch a pool of your mothers tears,
Rub it into your pores,
And feel the honesty in her touch.
She did not birth you,
On a cobble stone street in the middle of Valencia,
But into the banks of the Nile,
Where your spirit,
Can frolic,
With those of
The great kings and queens,
You are princess,
Groveling in the still beams of the moon,
Clinching the end of a storm in the middle
Of your hand,
Waiting for the Gods,
To call your name,
And the curtains to fade,
And unveil  your thrown.
