I shine without trying

Raw talent that I don’t fully comprehend

If only you would work at it

My parents' constant reminder

One day, I may focus

But for now I will enjoy this life

For I’m a teen with huge potential

And who wants to stay a teen

Till that time when I blossom

Into the successful adult I can be

I will learn the benefit of hard work

For myself and for my future
