The Potter and the Clay

The Potter got out his lump of clay
He sat down and began to pray:
"Father in heaven blessed are thee!
Guide my hands and fill me with glee
Let me be infused with inspiration.
As I’m reminded you’re the creator and I the creation.
And as I form this lump of earth into a plate,
So do you form your children into something great.
He took the plate of the wheel and painted it
Then placed it on a shelf for all to praise it.
