Pound For Pound

Pound for pound a knock out is merciless, the count down from ten breaks his weary silence as he hits the floor. Life becomes dark, lights start to fade and the colors from the crowd drown off there bodies. Pound for pound he fought for the night draining every last drip of motivation and hope off his body, they said fight to live last chance for glory, but glory isnt enough his body is torn from revelation. The count down of his life ends in seconds. He fought for death in life to save his body in the flesh. Seconds is all he has left to live for, he takes the final breath of defeat and the pattern of beats are lost in his chest..pound for pound, life for death, moments for seconds. His life ends with defeat.
