POV (Focus)

One of the only victims alone around town

Why would I let something so petty stop me now?

So many of us, fall victim to rejection

including me but that won't stop my progression

The problems I'm facing too small for me to worry

Don't want to regret my decisions when I turn 30

Don't let them stop you.... that's giving them the powers

All that hard work will pay off; the world is ours

Before I ever run away; I'll lose the fight

I'm not concerned about the past, not tonight

None of it matters when it's my turn to go

but as I grow; things get better the more I know

The puzzle coming together now very clear

anxiously I repeated "no need to fear"

I got something worth mentioning while I'm here

Read it out loud; awareness for the ear
