Power

Boom! There goes another one

Pointed at me

The sound of defeat

I try to live with regret

The life I never lived

The enchanted stories left whispered in tears

After all these years I still see

Your gun pointed at me

Quick, you have time to reload

I like to to watch your tragedy unfold

It's so nice to see

That your targeting

People with so much to give

Only if you had let them live

But you don't

No you won't

It's so sad

To watch men with power go mad

Hey everyone, I'm a very thoughtful and introspective aspiring writer. I've gone through some heavy stuff and writing helps tremendously and I joined powerpoetry to keep me inspired and going and help deal with the demons. I love music, making independent short films and music videos and of course writing.
