The Power

When people see me they look at me strange
But I know why
I have superpowers
There are special and all according to change
I can fly
I can read your thoughts
I can even use fire if it is in range

Powers, powers I have superpowers
I have laser eyes
I have telekinesis
I can spit out raging waters to make spiraling towers
I can be heard for miles
I can speak to your pet
I can breathe underwater for hours

Powers, powers wouldn't it be nice
If I had superpowers
Maybe there are none
But powers or not I have no vice
I cannot fly but I can work hard
I cannot read your mind but I can ask
I cannot bend fire but I have it in my heart as will than have be made of ice

Powers, powers I have none
Maybe having now is all I need
I can still smile
I can still create memories just the same
I am not blinded by greed
I am human
Maybe not in my mind
But what is so special about super speed

Heart, heart that is all we are
Special in our own ways
Told we are beautiful
It will take us so far
We make mistakes
We take risks
We are not hero's by superpowers or by wishing upon a star

We may not have costumes or capes
Or cool gadgets
Nor lots of money...now at least
But it is the small things that make the best shapes
You are in fact a hero
No superpowers included
Powers vs heart both or none you are the best in a ton
