Power

Power given, then power taken

To much power, leads to discrimination
Minority's walk then tend to hide
Just thinking, why do I have to be victimized
Police patrol with force and power
Saying is, blacks they always devour
Beating and assuming is the trend
Police are enemies, no longer friends
Here to protect and serve is the motto
Racial profiling is the only thing we tend to see though
Walking straight lines, everybody tries
Dead bodies with a smell of flies
Neighborhoods accused and tracked
Is everything they say a fact
Same crime committed by both genders
However, treated like two different offenders
Sentencing penalties are harsh and cruel
Abusing the power just because the white guy rules
This power abuse and discrimination must end
Like MLK says I have a dream that one day we will all win
