Power of The Beach

I walk along and feel the tide

As it comes ashore and retreats

There is nothing by my side

On my ankles the water beats

With the sand beneath my toes

And the sun sharing its fire

Front row seat to nature shows

The beach is all I need to be inspired

Watching as the sun appears and rises

Bringing the world from dark to the light

It shines on all to remove their disguises

And destroying the emptiness of the night

I sit alone in silence and with thought

Contemplating what I have always desired

Peace of mind cannot be truly bought

But their is no cost to be inspired
