The Power to Change

If I had the power to change anything, it would be the power to change.

The power to make things right in a wrong world.

Fix the problems humanity is too primitive to fix.

Bring the age where man is truly free from ignorance.

‘Ignorance is bliss’

What is bliss about thinking you are better than another?

What joy is there in letting our species fall to the horrible power of hunger?

Yet we pretend problems aren’t there; pretend the demons in our souls don’t exist.

It is a simpler path’

But is it the correct path when people die, people suffer, people cry?

And yet the world just turns its back.

We do it to force ourselves not to do anything.

So our live stay simple and easy instead of progressing.

It is time

Time for humanity to take command over ‘bliss’ and realize the problems.

Moving forward for next generations instead of deceiving ourselves.

Enlighten this dark and harsh world rather than making a shell.

To keep us from it.

For if ‘ ignorance is truly bliss

In this world

I refuse to exist.
