The Power to Change

Change—

always something people say will happen.

Change is always coming,

in different ways

different forms

but somehow it seems to

always be at bay.

I would change the world.

Erase

the debt

the fear

the war

the poor—

all the horrors of the world.

I would paint the world.

Fill it in

with new vibrance

new life

new happiness

true camaraderie

and true peace.

Power—

always striving for it

such an intangible thing; yet

it is still somehow attainable.

With the power,

I would change the world.

I would change the world.

I'm not much of a poet; I'm actually more of a visual artist, but hey. I try. Check out my blog if you like! For the time being it is showing some of the things I do, the thoughts I think, and the places I've been. I'll definitely be posting more of my actual art. Go poetry! http://shelbyfrazier.wordpress.com/
