The power of the cry
Land of no word.. Land of no sound to be heard...
The sky.. oh so very dark.. This day but a mere a mark.
The 3 horsemen have arrived and they have come with a most worrisome cry..
The British are coming!
The British are coming!
The men of red is what they meant
And so the men of blue had been sent..
The sun has risen and the moon had come to its descent..
They arrived to Lexington.. just east of the land of concord..
The men of red tried to deprive them of their weapons..
For their army was of many
But the blue of only seventy..
The sunlight began to grow ever so bright and once more the land had come to an everlasting silence..
Tension began to grow and prevention became a blow..
(Boom)
A shot was fired.
Tension came to a seize and bloodshed became such ease..
Many had died but if not for the horsemen's cry our pride as men of blue would've faded just as the first shot that was fired..
No one knows who's shot was fired but it will always be remembered as the moment that the revolutionary war had begun
